Dabba Hotspot Refund Policy

Effective Date: 28-Feb-2025

Thank you for purchasing a Dabba Hotspot reservation. We are dedicated to delivering a seamless experience and ensuring customer satisfaction. To enhance end-user experience and facilitate smooth network deployment, we are updating our refund policy effective February 28, 2025. This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted.

1. Eligibility for Refunds - PRE-TGE purchases.

- Dabba Lite Reservations (Season 1 & Season 2) purchased on or before February 21, 2025: These reservations are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid at the time of booking. The refund window closes at 23:59 (UTC) on February 28, 2025. Refunds will be issued to the original payment source. Any Genesis rewards allocated or any other applied offer to the customer will be forfeited. No refunds will be processed for Season 1 & Season 2 hotspots starting March 2, 2025.

- Reservations made for Season 2 on or after February 22, 2025: Customers are eligible for a refund within seven (07) days from the time of purchase (UTC). Refund requests beyond this period will not be accepted. Refunds will be processed after deducting applicable payment gateway fees and any discounts availed. Any Genesis rewards allocated to the customer will be forfeited.

- For Season 2 Hotspots purchased on or before February 28, 2025: A 14-day onboarding window will be announced for completing the onboarding fee payment. Reservation holders who fail to pay the USD 100 DBT onboarding fee within this period will forfeit their hotspot, and no refund will be provided.

- Reservations under any Dabba Lite Campaign starting March 1, 2025: Customers may request a refund within seven (07) days of purchase. Approved refunds will be processed after deducting payment gateway fees, applicable taxes, onboarding fees, and any availed discounts. Any additional offers or token rewards allocated to the customer will be forfeited.

2. Eligibility for Refunds - Post-TGE purchases.

After the TGE, Dabba Lite purchases will be eligible for a refund within seven (07) days from the purchase date, provided the hotspot has not been provisioned or activated. Refunds will be processed after deducting any applicable payment gateway fees, onboarding fee and any discounts availed by the customer. Any additional offers or token rewards allocated to the customer will be forfeited.

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
  • - Hotspot has been provisioned or activated.
  • - Refund requests made after the eligible refund period has expired.
  • - Any non-hardware-related charges.

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:
  • - Contact our support team at hello@dabbanetwork.com within the eligible refund period.
  • - Provide your order number, proof of purchase, and a brief explanation of your refund request.
  • - Approved refunds will be processed within 05 business days and credited back to the original payment method.

4. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within 14 business days from the date of refund, please:
  • - Check your bank account and payment provider.
  • - Contact your bank, as processing times may vary.
  • - Reach out to our support team for further assistance.

5. Changes to the Refund Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and the updated policy will apply to purchases made after the effective date.
